Good gracious. Lets talk a bit about last night shall we?

So after work yesterday, Melissa and I headed down to Long Beach to help Miss Laura celebrate her newly acquired degree.

After getting lost and going to the wrong location, we finally made it to the GAMEWORKS where it was CROWDED due to the CSULB graduations, Laker game, AND 50% off drinks. The place and atmosphere was *cough* ghetto *cough*.

Yeaaah...

Anyways, literally 5 minutes after we get our drinks, a fight breaks out between 2 girls who are both screaming about something about a baby's daddy. Security runs in and breaks them up, and practically carries them out still kicking and screaming their obscenities. Apparently the night was jam packed with fights at the joint because right after that incident, just when a another *rumble* looked like it was going to *down*, the lights came on and cops starting barking at EVERYONE to get out.

Not sure what to do, everyone pretty much downed their drinks and stumbled out... only to find a row of cops creating a human barrier to stop folks from wandering far from the parking structure. More fights are breaking out and people are yelling and I hide behind a pillar because I really don't want to be a "wrong time.. wrong place" victim.

Oh look... theres the k-9 unit!

What that in the sky? Oh... its a helicopter with flashing lights!!!

Why aren't folks as freaked out as I am?

Awww.. its official! 11pm and the party's over. Luckily we got to play for about 45 minutes. 20 of which was spent at the bar, 10 in the women's restroom, 6 in line to get into the bar area, and 9 actually spent with Laura who was about 80% *happy.*

Oh wells, we'll have PLENTY of opportunities to celebrate all together again during the upcoming weeks. :D

Instead of going to another bar or whatnot, Melissa and I dropped by the Hat, got some munchies and had a picnic on the carpet while watching Filipino movies. Oh and playing a round of "would you date...?"

Old and wrinkled?
Dirty nails?

No.

Webbed feet?

Maybe. Just in case I'm drowning....
