Say Cheese... Now Smile!

hehe... last night was soo much fun! =) OK.. so yesterday, Beth and I planned to go kidnapp Carrie for her birthday. We left Pomona around 3:40 and Carrie was scheduled to get out of class at 5:00... unfortunantly we caught traffic on the 405 around 4:40. Then.. we got lost around UCLA... (I SWEAR!! THAT CAMPUS IS FREAKING HUGE!! ITS BIGGER THAN CPP AND CSUF COMBINED... and then SOME!) So... we didn't exactly KIDNAP her because she called us while we were roaming around UCLA... but we found her... sang happy birthday as loud as Beth can... gave her the offical Carrie BIRTHDAY CROWN, SASH, and SEPTER... and off to dinner!! =D

19 miles and 2 hous later... we got to JOE'S CRAB SHACK... a place where my co-workers told me is the BEST for BIRTHDAY HUMILIATION! This place is SOOOOO cool... very colorfully decorated with good decent priced seafood... =) Our waitor was VERY FRIENDLY... kinda cute... and just really nice. So.. here we are... Laura (who just woke up in her car), Beth, Carrie (who refuses to wear her birthday crown with dignity!!) and I... just chilling.. waiting for our food.. when all of the sudden.. the waitors and waitresses proceed to dance around the restaurant in a giant conga line!! Sooo... one of the SMART waitresses sees Carrie's crown and makes her dance along with them... =) HAHAHAHAHAHA.. i swear.. this line was dancing for the LONGEST TIME and Carrie manages to esacape when our food arrives. Soooo... good food and conversation... and then our waitor appears with a BULLHORN and a HULA HOOP!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH... YES... he announces.. ITS CARRIE'S BIRTHDAY. SO.. we all sing a very rowdy rendition of HAPPY BIRTHDAY while Carrie struggles with her Hula Hoops.... its too awesome! (dont worry... I WILL have pictures ready... !!)

So.. after taking a lobster bib, several matchbooks, mints, and for Beth... wet naps... I follow Laura speed through MANY red lights... and we get to DOWNTOWN DISNEY for some fun! =) Park and get on the doubledecker bus for a 5 min drive to the stores.... (but we were sitting in that puppy for a good 15 mins just chatting) We stop by YARRIBA YARRIBA and talk to the bouncer for a while... he think's im SPECIAL.. =P and tells Laura she has to wear clothes to get inside. =) OK...First store... *DUH* Sephora.. but its closing soon.. =( Then its off to the front of the parks cause although we've been there many-a-time... we've never gone pass the SEPHORA. Took some pictures (STRADDLE THE C!!!!!) and peeked inside the California Adventure theme park...then off to HAGGAN DAAS cause CARRIE WANTS ICE CREAM. =P So.. we are walking back and decide to go inside YARRIBA YARRIBA just to check it out. This place is SOOOOo cool.. i think its going to be our new hang out now because. 1) they have really cool stage shows with dancing.. 2) the stage goes down and turns into a dance floor for everyone in the restaurant... 3) they have a live band... 4) we're already homies with the bouncer..=) and 5... ITS ALL FREE!! isnt that insane!! =) At first we were reluctant to dance cause.. hmmmm.. NO ONE ELSE was doing it.. but then Laura and Beth with her KUNG FU grip drags me out onto the floor (Carrie reluctantly follows) and we learn how to salsa by these to girls that come and dance with us. Its easy! =) Just move those HIPS!! =) ( or like Laura said.. "pretend you are having sex"...ummm.. yeah.. =P) Then we just go kick back and watch the rest of the dancers... and Beth play with her straw and fire. SOOO. you'd think the night ended there.. but NOOOO.. it ended with the very kick ass ride back to our car in our very own double decker bus... =) The driver was humoring us and honking the horn when we asked for it.. while beth yelled at them to go FASTER!! hahahahhaha... did you know that the offical speed limit at disneyland is 14 mph?? hehehe.. yeah.. it was lots of fun.. =) SO that was my adventure last night. SOOOO much fun... that offically goes down in the books.=) WHO'S BIRTHDAY IS NEXT!!

1) I'm grateful for MEDICINE... although it makes me want to throw up.. but it WORKS!!
2) I'm grateful last night's "good time"... it was hilarious girls.. we need to do it again!!
3) I'm grateful for the very cool $7 phone head set i got at walmart... its SOOO cool! =) i can use it on my cordless phone and my cellie! =)
