YAY YAY Disneyland was FUN! :)
Ok... what was really cool about last friday was that there was barely any lines.. and if there were lines it would be on rides where you wouldn't think there normally would be rides... like the Jungle Cruise or Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. But for the big rides like Space Mountain or Thunder Mountain... they were basically walk throughs. So hmmmm... where to start.
Met up with Melissa, Nick and Chrissy at Disneyland around 12:45ish because amazingly enough they got lost and didn't see the BIG HUGE SIGN that said Disneyland while driving on the street. ;) But yay we all got there and got the tickets and went inside... so since there wasn't a lot of people there, we went on Star Tours, Space Mountain, Small World, Mr. Toads, Snow White (more on this ride later), Big Thunder, Pirates, and Splash Mountain... all before 5pm when Carlene met up with us. Then we did a little shopping at Downtown Disney and then back into the park for Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain (again) and to watch Fantasmic. :) YAY DISNEYLAND!
"That was trippy"
*nick getting off of SMALL WORLD
okok.. so Snow White is one sadistic ride. First of all, theres only one Snow White appearance and its in the very begining. Most of the time, you're in the forest and the wicked witch is just coming out from all over the place and is just straight up creepy. I don't know why this ride is so freaky, but it is. Theres the queen turning into the witch... and then shes coming at you with an apple... and then shes about to get crushed by the rock and the doors open and the ride is over and the wall states "AND THE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER." Woah... where was the prince? Where was the whole true love's kiss? Where was the part when Snow White ate the apple?? I really don't like Snow White in the first place (helllo.. she was subservient woman who cooked and cleaned for 7 men. Also, she only had her looks to depend on. That's annoying. Girl.. get a backbone.) but the ride is pretty scary in this hilarious "oh my goodness I can't believe im getting freaked out in this kiddie ride" sort of way. Go check it out next time you're there. Muhahaha
Anyways, had a great time just being dorky, taking weird pictures while on the rides, and catching up with Mel. (the Small World trees reminded me of Lisa's house annd the confusion as to why there is one filipino doll and 3 topless mermaids in that ride is still a wonder.) heheheheh.. getting the lowdown of her and Ralph... AWWWW! ;) And when Carlene came, it was just continous eating for some reason.
The rest of the weekend was pretty chill. On Saturday, went to CPP's CKI fest with Carlene (who happily boasted that it was her first CKI event as a member of CSULB). Oh my gosh, we played "Capture the Flag" which is a game that I have never played before but it was so much fun despite being shoved into the dirt by Carlene and Mike-Bob who came viciously came running toward me as I was guarding the tree where our flag was perched atop of. So now my knees are aching and bruised. But despite all the leaves and dirt in my hair because of the "push" I still had a lot of fun. Saw a lot of faces that I haven't seen since the summer started and I got to pop some water balloons. :) YAY!
Sunday was the day of absolute laziness. But in a good way of course. Joe, Mondo, and Carrie came over after Leaderscape and Joe sorta kinda cleaned out my computer of random programs that I don't use or need anymore (but for some odd reason, its running slower) and then we went and met with Mom and Carlene for lunch. Then it was back home just to lounge about and debate about pregnant men and chivalry. :)
Today, had a club meeting and I swear, I just love my club and the new members. :) They're are sooo cute and happy. We have a new piggy bank for Happy/Sad quarters whom we named "Elephante" and some of the members were just putting quarters in it say that "they were happy to be a part of the club." AWWWW!! Adorable huh. Meetings are just so much fun and everyone is just so nice and friendly and great. :) i'm gushing huh... can't help it. They're just too cute! Stephanie is doing great as president and shes on the ball of organizing things. Kristen is so cool and like ready to conquer her position as Secretary. And everyone has this cool chemistry with the group and its just so laid back and chill... :) Its gonna be an awesome year!

first things first...
HAPPY BIRTDAY MANNY!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE-BOB!!
I'm 2 hours late... their birthdays were on the 26th. :) But I hope they had some great days... AND whats kinda cool is that I got to see both of them today. :) First saw Birthday-boy Manny at his little birthday get together at Q's in Pasadena where he was already belligerant when Carrie and I met up with him at 9:30pm. :) The club was fun... got to meet some of Birthday-boy Manny's friends who were all pretty nice and all somewhat drunk, and the music was good. There I discovered that Birthday-boy Manny in his drunken stupor has this look of absolute seriousness when he's freaking a girl. HAHA! :) The only thing is that I had a long day earlier and so I wasn't feeling it much and basically was just tired. So Carrie, Mondo and I went on this search for boba or at least something that was open so that we can chill and rest a bit before going home, but alas, everything was closed. It was then when we were rejected from Cheesecake when we ran into the other birthday boy. We were walking down Fair Oaks when we hear some people screaming some evil things about Filipinos behind us. I heard it, was irked, but ignored it thinking it was some drunken fools from one of the surrounding clubs. Then... we hear someone scream "hey! Isn't that the Circle K govenor?" and it was then that we realized that someone knew who we were. It was birthdayboy Mike-Bob and Linda! Yay! So we chit chatted awhile... and then pretty much gave up on our search for "something" and we all went home.
:) Anyways, it looks like Birthday-boy Manny wasn't the only one who was drunk tonight...
EclipseJMR: i feel honored to have a friend like you
EclipseJMR: love ya
spaznik: love ya too!

We're probably gonna go BUCK WILD since its been a while since we've done an outing like this! Gosh.. I feel like such the disney whore... but its such a happy place. Not to mention they have some really cute guys working there. Adventureland is just filled with those Indiana Jones type of guys who just look plain adorable in their khaki and open shirts and hats. *sigh* It IS the happiest place on earth!!

Wow... was that American Idol reunion CHEEEESSSYY or what!!? It was hip thrusting and hair thrashing overkill!! And what was up with that "lets dress up the girls in harem outfits and have them sing on top of rocks" desert montage? Did anyone noticed that EJ has a creepy resembalance to GEORGE MICHAEL during his WHAM! days? Hey AJ... STOP! Hey RYAN... STOP! JIM... Put on some glasses.. and then STOP! Hey Justin... I like that open shirt look... ;) Can we say grrrrrr!?!? Tamyra had a lot of airtime... and Nikki barely any. That was weird... But at least Kelly was singing well and was as cute as ever. :) Yeah... I don't know about that whole concert though... it was like watching a high school music revue.
Anyways, on a more serious note...
About 6 years ago, there was a brush fire in San Dimas, and the hills of northen San Dimas were all on the verge of evacuation. My mom, Carlene and I were gonna go to the Montclaire mall but while driving, we noticed the smoke coming from the hills, so mom decided that it would be best that we go back. When we got back home, firetrucks were already zooming to end of our street and all the neighbors were outside looking up at the hills, fire, and helicopters. The police came and said that evacuation was a possiblity, so we started packing like crazy. It was amazing because a lot of our friends and family were watching the news, recognized our neighborhood, and came by with trucks and offers of help. So with cars packed and ready to go on a moments noticed, we all just camped out and waited for news... and then we saw the greatest thing. A plane cameby and successfully dropped water onto majority of the fire... after that, the intesity of the situation died down and we were told that we were out of danger. That night, it was Maria's birthday gathering and Melissa (who lives on the otherside of the hill) and I were just going off on our fears of fires and evacuation and how we felt we were lucky because nothing happened.
Yesterday, I noticed the a smoke cloud in the sky. This morning, the whole sky was gray and the source of it was in the foothills. It made me recall the memory of our near-evacuation and I prayed for the wellbeing of everyone in that area. It was later today that I learned that it actually was a fire, and to make it worse, it was in Glendora, so I immediently thought of the hill that St. Lucy's is on and worried for my old high school. Then around 9, I get an Im from Keri saying that it was a good thing that I moved because the chances of my old house getting burned down were pretty big... and Keri herself was on the verge of evacuation. :( Worried about everyone, I called Melissa to see if she has heard from her family and their home... they're pretty packed up and ready to go.
I'm scared for my friends and their families. Tonight, the fire is still going but there aren't any planes making water drops because it is nighttime. There are hundreds of firefighters, but the heat and lack of humidity isnt helping. So now I just ask that everyone pray that everything goes will throughout the night and that everyone will be ok.

:) so I've been doing more thinking on this *guys are assholes* idea and I've come up with more...
No no no wait.. don't leave. Some of you guys might like this one.
So... my new theory now is that lesbians are geniuses.
Really... think about it. Women today really have no real need for men. We're stronger than ever so can lift our own boxes and open our own jars... and with the invention of sex toys and sperm banks, there really is no physical need men in our lives. We have our fellow girlfriends to whom we can rant, gossip, and get manicures with... AND we can't forget the endless hours of shopping we all do together.
But there's still something that makes us have huge, outrageous crushes on men. This need to be loved and wanted by them... its an illness. Its absolutely sick and yet, we are always sitting pretty waiting for the right "one" to come along and sweep us off our feet.
Carrie pointed out to me that men think with 2 things... their head and their penises. . Hey... at least they can blame a lot of their actions on that.... as for women... we can only blame one thing.. our own heads. So its now that I think life would be easier if everyone was a lesbian because women have this idea of what other women need since we all have the same mindframe (somewhat). But then again... I don't think so. That woman/woman thing is just too weird for me. I need that testerone that only a real man has to make me feel safe and truly loved. P
P O T A T E YO: Penises are scary...what was God thinking on that one?
HAHAHAHAHA that's so true.
Anyways... scary or not... its still something that a lot of women crave. (not the penis itself... just the thing that its attached to.)
Where am I going with this? Absolutely nowhere... but it was something that was on my mind today. :) Gosh... I've been thinking too hard lately huh....
*jerry springer's final thought*
P O T A T E YO: nice woman...but the woman thing doesn't do it for me...
P O T A T E YO: le sigh...that's the problem with your lesbian theory...
spaznik: not here either... but youd think that life would be easeir if we were lesbians..
spaznik: then we can all fall in love and put the men on an island..
P O T A T E YO: hahha
spaznik: where they can grunt and form their own football teams.
P O T A T E YO: we could treat them like wild monkeys and only approach them when we need to tranqualize them to collect sperm for the women to reproduce
P O T A T E YO: hahaha
P O T A T E YO: they could have wild kingdom specials on it
spaznik: wow...
P O T A T E YO: and Steve Irwin's wife Terri could be the host

wow.. yesterday I almost lost it. Borderline insane....
I guess work, school, tests, cramps, and cki worries got to me and sooo close to quitting everything and joining the circus... I don't know where there is a circus nearby... but THAT was my plan. And the kicker was that it was ONLY TUESDAY!! I still had 3 more days until the weekend...
Anyhoo... I pretty much camped out with my book last night and studied the whoole night through.
This morning, it started off on a bad note. My trusty phone alarm clock didn't go off at 6am as I would have hoped. Noope... my radio went off (but as usual, the music just infiltrated into my dreams, hence making it much more colorful and interesting) and I woke up at 6:50. Yeep... sorta kinda late. So I hopped out of bed, washed my face, brushed my teeth, put my hair up, threw on my clothes and I was OFF!! Well.. not like at rocket speed due to the HORRIBLE traffic. Luckily I got to school right at 8am, but I still had to get a scantron for the test... BLEH! So I was late... curse it all to Hades! But I think I did pretty ok on my test... so yay?? *crosses fingers*
The rest of the day was better. :) Actually, it was BETTER than BETTER. The weather was perfect, no traffic on the way back, studied happily at school, went home and organized my closet all while downloading some jazzy Diana Krall and Harry Connick Jr. tune... it was niiiiice. Quite an opposite from how I was feeling yesterday... and I realize that I really don't want to join the circus because I'd have to start off as a beginner there right? They wouldn't put my up on the trapeeze or inside the lion cage just yet (I'd still be hesitant about the trapeeze since I am scared of heights)... so I'd probably have to work my way up from like an elephant pooper scooper or sad scary clown that makes kids cry. Nah... I'll stick to school and decorating weddings for now.

:) and the weekend ended in an absolutely fabulous way. Today, went to the new Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. Only in Los Angeles will a Cathedral have its own parking structure (with 3 hour validation), gift shop, and cafe... but the place is amazing. The place is HUGE and its just beautiful. Instead of stain glass windows, on the side of the church there are these massive tapistries with the saints in it. Wow... I just don't know how to describe it other than "awesome." Like every little detail was beautiful. (I kinda went sorta crazy with my camera so hopefully I'll have pictures up soon.) We thought we had been to late for the mass, but fortunantly they had an 11:30 one so we got to go. :) The mass was in both spanish and english, so I was trying really hard to remember my "Padre Nuestro" that Senora Guerin had tried to pound into my head all during high school, but no luck.
After mass, keeping in theme with "ghetto" for the weekend, we drove over to Melrose and went to PINKS for some hot dogs. :) Exactly... drool with jealousy.
Anyways, now the weekend is over (BOO!) and its back to school (BOO!) where I have a test this Wednesday (BOO!) and back to work. Gosh... when is the next vacation!?!?!

LOOOONG day... but what a day it was...
This morning, drove to Fullerton for a reception that we were decorating there... from there, drove down to Inglewood to drop off the personal flowers at the bride's house and then it was off to Beverly Hills to decorate the ceremony site. Guess what I saw... well 2 houses away from the park where the ceremony was at was the home of the "fu*cking Prince of Darkness"... OZZY OSBOURN!!! Serious!! We were driving near Sunset looking for the park and I see this peach house with brown gates that looks very familar... and it all becomes clear to me... ITS THE OSBOURN house!! KICK ASS!! :) It was very exciting. The gate had some scary lookin gothic gargoyls on it. OoOoOooo... anyways, the park that we decorated was really really really pretty. I was telling Carrie its one of those places where your imagination goes wild with incredibly romantic scenarios of dashing men professing their love to you standing next to the fountain while everything is just looking beautiful around you.*awww* yeah.. its THAT pretty.
We finish in the nick of time and then get stuck in traffic for an hour trying to get back to Fullerton, where we finish the decorating this weird reception hall that has moose heads on the walls. (moose heads, chiffon, twinkle lights and columns... hey... whatever floats your boat.) Rush over to the mall to pick up some stuff and then I come back home.
Well, Carlene said that she had wanted to go to a jazz club for her birthday outing with mom, Michael and I... so I found this really kick ass club down near Hollywood. OH MY GOODNESS... this HAS to be the coolest thing that I've done in a while. The club is called "THE BAKED POTATO" and as you can guess, all they serve is alcohol and baked potatoes. (21 different types to be exact) Tonight, it was Kevin Eubanks of the Tonight Show fame and Will Calhoun from the rock band "IN LIVING COLOUR". Oh my goodness... it was soooooooooooooooooooooooo kick ass. I cannot stress how cool tonight was... it was so great. The club was really small and intimate and like Kevin Eubanks was like 4 people away from me and I could see his fingers going wild on the guitar. And Will Calhourn... he totally rocked on the drums tonight. Yeah... it was soooo coool. :) The Baked Potato is seriously my new favorite place in the whole wide world now... :) The club had a 2 drink minimum and so it was getting rather warm in the club... and Carlene was *happy* the entire night.
*meeting Kevin Eubanks*
mom: (pointing to Carlene) Its her 21st birthday!!
Kevin Eubanks: Oh hey!! Happy Birthday!!
Carlene: I'M SO DRUNK.
Anyways, after the first set, we decided to go get some food so that the drunkards (mom and Carlene) could sober up... so it was off to get some chicken and waffles at Roscoes on Sunset. :) We were gonna go to the Hustler Store (so we can have the pleasure of saying we got chicken, waffles, and PORN with our mom) but we were all pretty tired... we'll save that for a rainy day. ;)

When I was about 13, I started to wonder what kind of music I would listen to when I got older. Would I be clinging to my youth and trying to be *hip* and trendy with the newest music.. or would I stick to the music of my youth? Bumping along in my soccer van while my kids are complaining that I'm "lame" because I dance to Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" or even Nsync's "Bye Bye Bye" I think that as I get older, I'm gonna find a lot of things annoying just like how my mom can't stand Prince because "he sounds like a girl." I already can't stand lot of the rap thats out there... *wikki wikki wikki whooo hooo* But whats cool is that although she thinks some songs are wack (she thinks that house music is the music of the homosexuals after going to AIDS walk one year) shes still *hip* because she listens to everything and likes almost everything I listen to... including to "Bye Bye Bye." I hope to be cool like that with my own kids... even if I'm the only one who knows how to properly dance to it.

:) wow... what a night.
sooooo... went over to Rockbottom over in Long Beach for Carlene's birthday with her friends. That was a lot of fun... everyone was trying to get Carlene really drunk while I was trying hard to make sure she wasn't shitfaced by midnight. But HAHA I succeeded. Its good because at least she was able to have fun and remember EVERYTHING about her 21st birthday... which is quite opposite from mine when I turned that age and I had to relive mine through some rather embarassing photos.
after dinner... it was off to go clubbing. OK.. I have to admit that I was being a bit shy about going clubbing with Carlene's friends because well I really don't know them that well.. so I begged Carrie and Joe not to go home just yet and come to CLUB 49 with us. So they did... and ok... this club... was the GHETTO. Not even ghetto-fabulous... it was straight up GHETTO. It was more GHETTO than the previous #1 GHETTO club that I had been to before... METRO aka The TRO to those in Riverside... but this one takes the cake. Lets start from the begining. It doesn't seem like theres a lot of people inside... and in reality.. there wasn't. The moment our group walked in (about 15 asains) the music is bumping ultimate FREAKY song *MY NECK... MY BACK...* and I'm thinking... OH NO. So... everyone there is a BLACK MAN. There's about 20 pguys just chillin in the patio and barely anyone dancing. I'm not kidding you... and they were all guys... ok.. there were about 7girls there... (2 of which were in the middle of the dancefloor grinding like CRAZY with their men) but then they left leaving us 6 females of our group terrified that we might be targets of a giant freakfest. I guess you could say that this is a girl's dream.. where the ratio is like 10:1... but it wasn't.
"You can have your pick of anyone you want right now."
~Joe
It was just so incredibly ghetto... yeah. The club has 2 parts.. the outside and the inside. So we go inside thinking "hmmm... maybe it will get better..." but nope. Inside... theres music but its 2 guys rapping hardcore on a tiny stage with about 10 other guys just chillin.
"I need a drink RIGHT NOW"
~Carlene
Everyone in our group has this look of "OH MY GOD" and giant awkward grins of disbelief on our faces... and we proceed to go back outside and chill next to the fence in the corner where we try to figure out our escape.
Anyways, as you can imagine, we didn't stay at the club very long. But at least we got in for free... and the "ghettoness" of the club just made the night incredibly memorable. :)

I have the bestest sister in the world... and today is her birthday!!
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY CARLENE!!
I love you! *muah* Now you don't have to borrow my id anymore... not like we look alike or anything... ;P
Tonight we'll be running amok in Long Beach. Yep, while shes drunk and belligerant, I'll be on the side watching my sister at her peak of absolute *niceness* :)

Good gracious... its only TUESDAY!?!
Its been a busy couple of days mainly because of classes, reading, and the membership drives we've been having at school for the club. Yesterday was pretty good. Old members like Brian, Tina and Crystal came by and were chilling with us at the table... and later on Mike Wei came and helped too. (and later disappeared with Tina down into the Pub... oh wells. We were pretty much finished by then.) After the drive on Monday, Tina, Weiwei and I were just chilling and talking about the "days of yesteryear." Anyways, while talking, I remembered about the fantabulous TACO TUESDAY that Tina, Mai, lil Tina and I had gone to down in Downtown Fullerton, so I suggested that we go. YAY! SO the plan was set... and so I decided to call Luc and see if he wanted to go... and then called Erin and then Mai.. and then lil Tina... and I guess Tina called Denise who then called and emailed more people... and soooo today at 8pm... there was a grip of these old school CKIers there. *reunited and it feels sooo good* :) It was pretty awesome... So it was me, (big) Tina, Wei, Luc, Mai, Erin, JP, Kyle, Kathy, Denise, Rodney, Brian (tall white guy one), Bryan (white older one), Chris... poor Petey, Stephanie, and Mondo who probably had no clue who everyone else was since they're new school... er.. or new old school.. or something like that... but everyone got along fine with the 50 cent tacos and the piano men playing in the backround.
Anyways, back to the membership drives, today Petey and Kenny came down and helped Steph and I out. It was a sllooow day.. and I can't forget to whine about how HOT it was. My right shoulder is sunburnt! :( But we still had a good time and got some prospective members so hopefully I didn't get that sunburn for nothing.
Kenny: look! its the 7up shirt!
Petey: yeah Kenny. Up yours.
Poor Petey, Steph and I had left him around 4 to go to class... and I told him that I'd meet him up after class and studing a bit... but I kinda conked out in the library while reading and woke up at 7:30... but I think he was having a good old time wandering about the area with his webcam... I think. :) If not.. then those 50 cent tacos should have made it a better day... *hopefully*
But yeah.. big thanks for Petey and Weiwei and Kenny for coming and helping out. Petey got his donut and Weiwei got some candy... and hopefuly we got some new members. :) YAY

Today was an absolutely crazy day. :) My mom decided about a week ago that we really didn't need the spa in the backyard anymore... and it was just a lucky coincidence that when my mom figured this out... my Tito Jerry was here and decided that he wanted a spa. Talk about fate! So, today was the big "move" day. Tito Jerry brought Mark, Myles and 3 of their *strong* homies, as well as some other *strong* friends of his to pick up the spa and bring it over to Moreno Valley. The adventure started at 9am.
Around 9:30, they had the spa out of the concrete slab it was on and up on its side so that they can take it though the side patio area. It was then they discovered the entire bottom of the spa had been a nesting spot for HUNDREDS of spiders. Not like large freaky ones with big fangs that can kill you... but like a ton of itty bitty ones that are just freaky in general.
11:30am- they figure out that the awning over the patio area isn't tall enough to accomodate the spa on its side. They decide to push really hard.
11:55am- the pushing hard tatic didn't work and proceed to take apart the piping. By then, the boys had to leave (work) and so Tito Jerry calls for help in the form of more of his friends from MoVall. While waiting for the replacements, discover that the wood beams over the patio area are too low as well. SO they take those down. OH they also figure out that the spa won't slide through the front gate... so they cut a big gap in the middle the front hedges and take down the fence behind it. I think that if the neighborhood wasn't awaken by the large clan of filipino men talking LOUDLY in the morning, I think the hammering and the sound of the saws did it. Carlene is on the verge of screaming *I TOLD YOU SO* because she had been stating it all morning... and suggested that they should heave the sucker over the fence into the trailer "holding pen" thats behind the house and just have another bunch of guys waiting with the truck there. Either that or airlift it.
2:00pm- OK. They're ready. So its a lot of grunting and pushing and finally... the spa is on its side on my front lawn. Its quite a sight actually. By then there are like 12 guys here all pushing this giant spa onto the back of Mark's Tahoma. I imagine this is how the ancient egyptians built their pyramids... but they probably weren't as loud as this giant gang of filipino men and their sons. Poor Mark is looking freaked by the fact that there's a spa in the back of his truck... which, I might say, the cab isn't very big in the first place. So its truck, spa about 3/4s in the truck... and then spa ass sticking out. I can't say the house looks any better with a huge gap of fence and bush missing from the front, pieces of wood from the patio overhead too the side, the backyard is incredibly muddy and theres spiders crawling all over the place.
3:30pm- They're done! Celebratory late lunch over at the filipino restaurant nearby. Afterwards, Carlene, Adrian, Joseph, Mark, Myles and myself walk over to the board shop where Carlene buys her Birthday gift and the boys ditch us to go get a Hello Kitty boombox at Target. ;) When Carlene and I drive back home... there it is. Truck-Spa in all its glory just chillin on the street. At least when they do get it to Moreno Valley... they'll be able to use it once they get it out of the truck and into their backyard. Ahhhhh... YAY FOR THEM.

I've had a revelation this past week on men. What is it again? Oh yes... You're all assholes. :) You guys have NO clue about a lot of stuff and I think the thing is that you don't attempt in trying to understand our sex. Its "women are wack" and that's basically it. Whereas you see women everywhere quoting lines from relationship books and different magazines just trying to get into the male psyche so that we can try to figure out what the freak you guys are thinking. And even the stuff I read... its so unfair! Ok.. Dr. John Gray in "Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus" says that men and women have this point system. And if a man does anything remotely nice... they get one point. I think this is true. For instance, opening a door for a girl... thats a point. Using eye contact when listening to her talk... one point. Complimenting her on how she looks.. one point. In fact, Dr. Gray give 101 tips on how to score points... but the its only ONE point. Whereas for men, points VARY and the actions... well it seems like women have to compromise a lot on their part in order to get those points. Example, when a man disappoints a woman and she doesn't punish him.. 10-20 points. He gets lost while driving and she doesnt make a big deal out of it... 10-20 points. When he withdraws and she doesn't make him feel guilty... 10-20 points. I dunno... it seems that for men... its easy for them to score points with us. But for us, its different. It means not stating how we feel... and we'll get 10-20 points. Hell, "she really enjoys having sex with him" is 10-40 points so even in the SEX department, where you think you could get a lot of points, it STILL varies. In this section, Dr. Gray was only able to provide women with 26 point scoring ways. 26 vs. 101. And yet, men are still clueless. I really don't know where I'm going with this.. perhaps its a sign that I'm reading too much or that I haven't met anyone who could prove me wrong on this "MEN ARE ASSHOLES" rant because I even think my guy friends are pretty asshole-ish at times.
But let me end with this; even if men are assholes... something has to be said about the women who are attracted to them and want to have relationships with them (myself included). We're pretty stupid.

*slight venting with Jean on the phone*
nicole: where do we find guys who are cute, have nice personalities and who'll like us back?
jean: i think you should just hang out with ugly girls.... so then you'll be the cutest...
*a conversation with Pete regarding the conversation with Jean... and then some.
CKIPete: "I think you should just hang out with the ugly girls...'??
CKIPete: lol
spaznik: i dunnno if thats a good thing...
spaznik: like.. you hang out with pretty people.. thats why you get no game
CKIPete: I guess that could be true to a point...
spaznik: hahahaha... yeah.. but at first glance its funny
CKIPete: I just found it to be an entertaining strategy.
CKIPete: You just need to wear a shirt that says "I'll put out" but that might not bring in the kind of guys you want.
CKIPete: I've got one. It doesn't work.
CKIPete: The only comment I've ever gotten on it from a girl is: "Yeah, no kidding!"
spaznik: HAHAHAHAH
spaznik: did you make that shirt by yourself..
spaznik: get some ironons from walmart?
CKIPete: lol... no, they sell them all over the place.
CKIPete: (j/k I don't actually have a shirt like that)
spaznik: hmmmm.. i'll have to keep an eye out...
spaznik: hahaha.. riiiight
CKIPete: Nah, I don't. I don't need one. I'm a guy.
CKIPete: Guys just don't need shirts that say "I'll put out"
spaznik: next thing you know you'lll be buying some ironons..
CKIPete: The only kind of shirt a guy might need would say: "I'm waiting until marriage"
spaznik: and then girls can try to seduce him out of that...
spaznik: literally.
CKIPete: Hmm... would that work
CKIPete: ?
spaznik: the sluts out there might be all... "i can make him NOT wait..."
CKIPete: Hmmm... *evil grin*
spaznik: a shirt like that wold be like a challenge...

Wow... was anyone else crying or getting major chills during that finale of AMERICAN IDOL??? YAY KELLY CLARKSON!! I'm gonna say something completely stalkerish and freaky, but "I feel connected to them." Probably since I've have been this little AMERICAN IDOL dork since the begining and I remember watching them audition and voting Kelly, Justin, Tamyra, and RJ when I had the chance... I'm genuinely happy for them. It was a bittersweet finale... sweet because YAY we finally have an IDOL... but sad because ITS OVER!! I was lamenting over "the end" with Brandi last week. It seems like we won't have anything to look forward to anymore on Tuesday and Wednesday nights anymore... No more harsh english critism or winking from Simon... No more adorable eye fucking from Justin... No more screaming obsenities at Ryan Starr's boobs... No more wishing painful and horrid deaths upon Ryan Seacrest, Brian Dunkleman, and Paula Abdul... No more Randy Jackon chanting names over and over and over again (kelly kelly kelly... nikki nikki nikki)... No more smart ass recaps from televisionwithoutpity.com... No more 1-866-IDOLS0# and the nice recorded voice that said "Thank you for voting for contestesnt #_... No more cheesy ford focus and coca cocla shameless plugs... *sigh* No more RJ (he was a cutie), TAMYRA, JUSTIN (sexxxxy sideshow bob) or KELLY (YAY SHE WON!) singing their hearts out anymore... NO MORE AMERICAN IDOL... for now. OH WELL... next summer!! But tonight, and last night as well, I was getting serious goose pimples. :o
OH!!... Speaking of music... Can I just say that the new REMY SHAND CD is one totally SEXY CD! Its sooo chill. Yeah... talk about music to get your groove on too...
Ok moving on... today we had day 1 of clubfest at school. It kinda sucked because we weren't able to get a table. BUUUUUT... the other night I had made some fliers to pass out and Stephanie and I went on this mad flier campaign. Unfortunantly, we had bought 3 staplers and 2 of them broke and the last one wasn't one we could really use and so our major campaign was only half an hour long. :( BUUUUT while we were chilling with Big Tina (YAAAY!!) and we had one of our catchy fliers on the table... some guy just saw the headline 9 OUT OF 10 GIRLS THINK THAT GUYS WHO DO COMMUNITY SERVICE ARE SEXY and came by and picked up a flier. About 10 minutes later he came back and got another one. :) YAAAY!! Prospective member?? I hope so. Does this mean he'll be bringing some of his guy friends along too? Maaaaybe. And will some of these friends be cute and have charming personalities that will sweep me off my feet? Ok... maybe not but one can dream. Tomorrow (er today)... we conquer the school once again.. this time with strong sturdy staplers that can pound staples into wall after wall after wall in a giant adventure of fliering FUN! If you wanna play... and you have a stapler... do come and join us! :)

Yay! I'm blogging live and in person from Carrie's apartment... :) I'm spending the night because tomorrow (er.. today) I have a wedding to decorate. Don't ask me why this wedding is on a Tuesday but I guess its going to be a great big affair... so big that they want us to decorate an area of the ballroom for a 12 ft high cake. 12 freaking feet of cake... thats just obscene. Anyways, I should have more on this later...
So today, I went to STAPLES with Carlene who was on this conquest to find the perfect organizer. Anyways, while I was there, I decided to go look for my lefthanded notebooks. Well, I was getting frustrated that among the long aisles of notebooks not finding them...so I stopped a guy who worked there and asked him "excuse me... do you have the lefthanded notebook... not the ones where the spiral is on the top, but on the right hand side?" The guy gave me this weird look and reached out to a pile of notebooks and flipped the top one over. "There... the spiral is on the opposite side." "Haha," I replied and continuted to wait for him to show me were the real lefty notebooks were. "Wait... there's really left handed notebooks? I've never heard of them," the worker says. "There REALLY is a left handed notebook... its just like the regular notebook but just has the binding on the right hand side," I reply very sweetly. He then grabbed another worker who was walking by and asked, "Hey... do we have left handed notebooks?" in the way speak with other adults about Santa Clause in front of children. That guy just shrugged and walked away. So my guy said that he would ask around and leaves me. While I'm standing in front of the normal notebooks waiting... my worker guy goes around the store asking other workers. But by the manner of his voice, he might as well have been asking them if they've seen puff the magic dragon with the big green giant on his back carring a bowl of lucky charms run through... and his fellow co-workers are responding back slowly. "Noooooo... you silly daff, there's no such thing as "left handed notebooks." He then comes back to me and I'm ready for him to say "Look you retarded girl.. theres no such thing. So deal with your deformity you lefthanded freak" but he doesn't. He just asks me that when I do find this "notebook" to come back and make him a believer.
I hate Staples. There REALLY is a lefthanded notebook and when I do get it.. I'll SHOW THEM ALL!! :P

BLEH.. I'm feeling bleh. I don't know why... its not an emotional bleh... more of a "gosh I ache" kind of bleh. Its pretty weird.
The other night, I was having this great dream. It wasn't all weird like the Ben Afflect/Mel Gibson/Patrick Swaze/Xena dreams I've had before... but it was a nice, down to earth dream that involved all the people I know and love... and while I think it was in its absolute peak of pleasantry... Mom wakes me up! And it was one of those dreams that just seemed soooo real... were you wish to God that it was true because if it was, then you wouldn't have to worry in real life about what's going to happen... :) And it all ended... yeah I wasn't very happy afterwards... and when I went back to sleep like 15 minutes later, I tried to get into the same mindframe of the dream... but nope. It didn't come back. :( oh wells...
