Say Cheese... Now Smile!

one more week to go and then its CONVENTION!! =) whoooo.. im soo excited!! I'm so happy to say we have our talent skit down... =D.. its ULTRA WICKED!! We basically worked on it all weekend and today we just had it all together. =) YAY!

On friday, we were supposed to go to a TV taping for King of Queens, but the show was soo full that we weren't able to get in. =( we left school 3 hours early and drove in that HORRIBLE LA traffic... and we didn't get in. *ugh* oh well.. on the bright side, the ride over there was FUN!! hahahaha... lamar was keeping us entertained with his stories and jokes... afterwards, rather than go home and stay in traffic for another 3 hours, we went over to 3rd street to go shopping. =) YAY SEHPORA! Actually, Keri and I roamed the street while Christina, Lamar, and Sarah kicked it and watched the street performers. By the time we met up, they KNEW what the Breakers were going to do. Did you know that they have a REAL LIVE DJ in the Puma store?? Thats rather clever huh... so people can go shopping for the right athletic shoes and feel as if they are clubbing too... crazy.

Saturday, my mom's barkada from collage came over and they just all chilled over there at the apartment. Its really cool how they've all kept in touch over all these years. To think that their friendships survived getting married, having kids, moving to an entirely different country... etc. It makes me wonder if I'll still be hanging out with my friends say in 20 years. Going to each other's kids' birthday parties...talking about soccer practices and girl scout meetings... AAACCCKKK!! im going to get old!!

Anyhoo, after that, I met up with Carrie at the mall where they had a really wicked sale at Limbo Lounge (everything was buy one get on free!! YAY!) and Carrie had to find the "perfect pink dress" for convention. After finding it, we drove over to Lauras where we practiced like CRAZY!! =) (that is after waiting for Manny and Beth, going to Mc Donalds for the happy meal toy, and listening to more of Lamar's stories). When we were done, I chilled at Lauras where I helped Vivian with her cross-word puzzle. Sooo... here we are bored and wondering where to go. Laura then decides.. LETS GO TO THE HUSTLER STORE.

2 hours later (we forgot that its st patricks day and theres a MILLION people trying to get into Dublins on Sunset) we finally get to the Hustler store. This store is just hilarious.... they have some perfumes that smell good, but have aweful suggestive names like "blow job" and "69." Like what if someone comes up to you and asks what perfume you are wearing and you respond "DO ME GOOD" mmmm... i dont think so. OH ALSO... I always joke around about gay midget porn... but OH MY GOSH.. there really such a thing!! Laura, Vivian and I were looking for porn titles that had references to movie names.. you know like "forrest hump" or "shaving ryan's privates" or something of the sort. The whole store is just crazy... its like a BORDERS because they have a lil coffee cafe in it with a book section. Crazy.... but lots of fun. =) On the ride home, suddenly things had a sexual connotation. We're pathetic. =)
