Say Cheese... Now Smile!

ok... WHAT A WEEKEND is all I can say.... INSANE!!

First of all, on Thursday, I went over to SL to kick it with Keri, Tina, Crystal, and Mariss because it was Kairos homecoming and Mariss was the mean old rector! hahahaha... it was pretty cool to go back... but dude, I felt HELLA old!! Afterwards, we went over to Dennys for a late dinner where we met up witb JP... who then later came with us to Walmart! hahahaha.. yes.. WALMART again!! But it was hilarious because we all got those BOING HAHAHAHAH toys the irritated tina so much and we chased her around the store with them. =D Lots of fun!

On Friday, my right arm cramped up because my club closed itself from civilization for 4 hours and made st patricks day cards for the childrens center. All i did was cut and decorate.. so when I got home, my arm was aching. Raquel, Chris, Stephanie, Lamar and I just chilled, ordered pizza, watched movies and made the cards.. =)


Ok... so then yesterday, Saturday, I went over to Carrie's to supposedly spend the night. We first drove over to Sephora over at 3rd street and then we went to go pick up pic and manny. After that we went over to CSULB for their Bowl-a-Thon... which was really really successful. (yay laura!_) Carrie had a blast ruining everyone's shots... hahaha.. its all good though, we really werent keeping score and PIc was making up really stupid cheers about Manny.. =) HILARIOUS!

Alrighty, so then when we leave, we are wondering where are we going to go. So, on a whim, I say LETS GO TO VEGAS!!! Manny gets all excited and Pic starts DARING Carrie, who is driving, to take us there. He's going ON and ON about AMERICA BEING THE LAND OF THE FREE and HOW WE SHOULD GO TAKE CHANCES blah blah blah... but he's really PERSISTENT. Carrie is really quiet and I think shes going to burst with anger so I was like... DONT LISTEN TO PIC.. IF YOU DONT WANT TO GO..WE DONT HAVE TO.." But Pic is still going ON and ON and ONNNNNNNN.... so we get to freeway... if Carrie chooses to go on the 405, that means we are going back to LA... if she chooses the 605... that means we are going to Vegas.

So now everyone is SCREAMING like crazy in the car... and then we are on the 60.. and then on the 15... (where we almost ran over a coyote!!) and 3 1/2 hours later.. we are FREAKING IN VEGAS!!! HELLLLLOOO!! what just happened!!?!?! Keep in mind we have to be back in LA around 11 for a convention meeting... not to mention that Pic lives in Vegas and he flew to LA for the weekend and will be flying back later that night. NOOOOO.. we are in another state. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I was going crazy... I kept on screaming :"OH MY GOD... I CANT BELIEVE WE ARE GOING TO VEGAS" or "OH MY GOD.. WE ARE IN VEGAS" or "OH SHIT.. WE REALLY ARE IN VEGAS" and then giggling uncontrolably. It was insane.. and the kicker is... I WAS JOKING!! I DIDNT REALLY THINK WE WERE GOING TO GO TO VEGAS!!!

Well, anyhoo, here we are in Vegas. First we go to Pic's apartment to go visit Venus and Mikey...and then its off to the strip. Ok... last time I went to Vegas, the newest thing was LUXOR so Nicole was pretty shocked. It was SOOOOO awesome!! =) The whole time I couldnt believe we were there... Manny kept on pinching me cause I was always going "WOW" underneath my breath. We went over to Caesers Palace.. and then over to the Venitian, and Paris, and Alladin... and I just cant believe we were there!!! I swear.. I sooo wanna get married over there!! =) sooo cool! (well except for the fact that PORN pretty much litters the street!) Well, 4 hours later, several miles walked, and many buckets taken from various casinos as soveniers for our homie who WOULD NEVER BELIVE WE WOULD DO SUCH A THING" we are tired and hungry. We go over to another casino for a cheap breakfast (which I think made Manny sick) and then its back to LA.

Pic and Carrie take the first shift back and then Barstow, Manny and I drive back. We were having a BLAST making the big rigs next to us honk for us. =) We made it back in time for our Convention Meeting... ( YAY!! ITS COMING UP!! EVERYONE IN CKI MUST GO!! SOOOO GO!! =D) and then its off to CSUF for our skit practice!! Im soooo excited!!!

So... get this... we drove about 7 hours to spend 4 hours in VEGAS!

That was my weekend in a nutshell. COMPLETELY INSANE huh.... I THINK WE ARE COMPLETEY INSANE....

My grateful things:
1) I'm grateful that we made it to and from Vegas safely.
2) I'm grateful that we didn't kill the coyote... since I believe that Carrie already ran over a dead bunny or something.
3) I'm grateful for probably the most WICKEDEST sunday morning EVER!!! =) HAHAHAHAHAHA.. nothing can top this now huh....
