Yesterday, we celebrated Janelle's birthday, (which is actually today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS JANELLE!) at her BOMBAY BIRTHDAY BASH! In typical Janelle style, she went all out for the event, including transforming her gazebo into a sitting lounge with carpets and dozens of pillows on the floor, ordering authentic Indian food (which I had for the very first time... SPICY ALL AROUND!!), playing Bollywood music videos in the backround, and even wearing a gorgeous sari for the occasion. :) I think that if she had enough time, she would have figured out a way to get an elephant and white tigers just to complete the ambiance. :)
Perhaps the only thing I have was the fact that I was surrounded by COUPLES. COUPLES all around. COUPLES COUPLES COUPLES! Granted, there were a few single folks too, but the COUPLE power was quite strong and if needed, they could have each taken one single person and transform them into their very own single "wench."
"Oh honey... aren't these pitas delicious... SINGLE WENCH!! WE WANT MORE PITAS!!"
"Aye... did you want some lamb also?"
"Duuuuuh..."
Oh to be in love...
*note* I would never say "Aye". Who says "Aye" anymore anyways besides pirates and.. um... I think thats it. Pirates. And they're a dying breed.
