I know I know, its been awhile. But I've been twittering and honestly twittering is a lot easier than blogging. I can just pick up my phone and *bam* there's a tweet!! But I do miss blogging and so here I am. Blogging. Woot! :)
Obviously, things have changed since that fateful night we watched the tranny Miss Universe... the most recent and probably most important to me was the fact that I moved out.
Cheap rent and the feeling that I needed drastic change were the basis of this decision and I am not regretting it. Sure, I'm on a tight budget and I've been living off of mac and cheese... but mac and cheese is pretty awesome and even more so when you put hot dogs in it.
Although the distance is pretty much the same to work, the commute is a whole lot easier and I'm still getting used to the area and have been exploring whenever I get a chance. The other day, I got uber excited to find a TJ MAXX nearby. It's like I never left!!
I went back *home* this pass weekend, and lo and behold, I drove right into a fire. Literally.
As the day progressed, the fire inched closer and and closer to Chino Hills, and lo and behold, our city was a buzz with reporters, helicopters, and smoke. First earthquakes, now fires... but I guess it could be worse. Did you see Buffy and what happened to Sunnydale?!
By 6pm, they closed all the freeways that were nearby... and there went our plans to go out for the evening. So we stayed in and ate ice cream and bagel bites. Emergency food rocks.
