Say Cheese... Now Smile!

Ahh... we're in the process of cooking thanksgiving dinner. The assignments are as follows:
Mom: The roast
Nicole: Stuffing and Cornbread (and opening the can of cranberry sauce)
Carlene: Potatoes
Sonny: Veggies
Sam's Club: Pumpkin Pie

We also have some Thanksgiving Okoy. Go ethnic!

Unfortunantly, we don't have milk. What we DO have is Vanilla flavored Soy Milk. YUM. So far my cornbread is slightly overcooked (see crunchy) but I'm not gonna blame the fact that I left it in the oven for too long... I'm gonna blame the soy milk.

What should be interesting is how Carlene's potatoes come out. The mix we got was in BULK (thanks to COSTCO) and there was some confusion as to how many packages she was supposed to add to the mixture of milk (soy subsitute)... so I'm predicting really really REALLY cheesy potatoes. Basically a solid block of cheese. But it'll be ok. Who doesn't like cheese?

Now we're having some downtime as we wait for our turn with the oven...

carlene: Your boobs are big!! Are you thankful for your boobs! Its not fair!

spaznik: ew... you know what i'm hearing coming from my sisters room?
spaznik: "YOU SHOT A BOOGER IN MY EYE!"

spaznik: and that was Sonny who was screaming it.
