Say Cheese... Now Smile!

Wow... long day.. but it was good one. ;) Went to work in the morning... rushed home... cleaned up the guest room and bathroom... got ready... and rushed to the grocery to buy some flowers for Jen-Jen... stayed there for 30 minutes because apparently Ayala had their graduation as well today and everyone and their mother was getting balloons... rushed over to Tito Nanding's to meet up with Carlene and John's Jen... and we speeded away to the Bonita for the graduation. ;) Carlene and I had this maliciious intention to try to humiliate her by being obnoxious cousins... but I think that we weren't TOO bad. ;) We had brought POTS, PANS, and GIANTS SPOONS to the ceremony. YEP. THE CHEAPEST AND ROWDIEST NOISEMAKER EVER!! When she walked by us at the processional... I think that the audience around us knew that it was OVER because we proceeded to scream and bang our pots and pans... when we did... one homie behind us in the stands pointed and laughed and said. "OH MY GOSH!! THEY BROUGHT THEIR KITCHEN!" Tita Jane was hiding behind her program as we were doing it... and Tita Lagring kept on laughing... so I'm assuming that everyone enjoyed it. ;) BUT sad thing is we made some really FANTASTIC signs like "JEN JEN IS MY COUSIN!" or "JEN JEN IS SMRT!" and "JEN JEN RAWKS" ... but the school had this NO SIGN.. NO BANNERS.. NO FUN rule.. so we had to put them in the dumpster next to the entrance. (but we did go back and dig them out afterwards.) We even had an excuse just incase they were going to confiscate our pots and pans... we were ready to tell them that Jen was about to embark on this fabulous journey to culinary school. ;)

Anyways, so there was my not-so-little cousin graduating. I FELT OLD. But I was incredibly happy for her. She's going to be awesome in whatever she does in the future. Well more pots were banged as Jen went up and gave the class "Farewell Speech" and then banged once again and ever so ferociously as she went to get her diploma. :) WHen it was all done... unlike last year when we bombarded JR with his hula skirt and coconut shell bra... we just handed her the pots and pans... and made her pose with them in all her pictures with the family. Not to mention a lot of screaming and jumpiing around like maniacs.

So... 3 hours in the sun and no water makes Nicole a very crazy and thirsty girl. But since we were going to have dinner... Carlene, John's Jen and I decided that it would be better if we didn't stroll into the restaurnt with giant slurpees... so we quietly suck on our own saliva and go slightly insane. We seriously started drooling when we passed a waterbed shop.

John's Jen: We should go inside.
Nicole: And what... start sucking on a matress?
John's Jen: Yeah... but say that we want to listen to the ocean inside.

Well... we made it to the restaurant alive... ;) At least we finally got our waters... in fact the waitress just handed us a pitcher cause we just kept on downing glass after glass like a herd of crazed camels. The rest of the family came and we had a lot of fun just eating and talking and making fun of JR.

JR: Eww.. That stuff is NASTY!
Nicole: So is that a GOOD NASTY or a BAD NASTY? Knowing you... its " I LIKE it NASTY like that!"

*pshaw... OLIVE GARDEN MY ASS!* Bombie and Michelle came and brough baby Alicia who is just tooo freaking adorable. ;) She can grab cheerios in her hand.. but gets frustrated cause she can't figure out the process of ungrasping to let it go just yet. TOO CUTE! Dinner was pretty good... Jen re-delivered her speech for those who weren't able to make it to the ceremony... and according to her and my fortune cookie.. "I WILL RECIEVE A COMPLIMENT FROM A STRANGER ON FRIDAY IN BED." Carlene's fortune told her to promote literacy by buying more fortune cookies.

Yeah... so it was a good night. ;) Drove to Chino Hills and got some dessert with Carlene over at Starbucks and chit chatted about boys... ;) and then came home to find Tito Manoy, Tita Connie, Butch, AJ and Amabel down for the weekend visiting. :) YAY MORE FAMILY! Well not the entire weekend... them and Carlene and mom are gonna go to Vegas.. while I stay home and go to JUNE BOARD. ;) YAY! It should be fun!
