Say Cheese... Now Smile!

Well...lookie here... its Fathers' Day.. so HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Yep.

Its been an interesting and fun weekend. :) Friday, Luc FINALLY graduated from good ole Cal Poly Pomona. So I went to the ceremony with lucky wok and spoon in hand. (it was a spoon when I arrived.... but after being beaten mercilessly against the wok by certain overzealous gentlemen *ahem Petey and Joe* the spoon soon was reduced to a wooden STICK.) When they finally said Luc's name, Joanne, Petey, Joe and myself screamed bloodymurder and left our side of the audience with ringing ears. ;p It was GREAT! The school was PACKED with friends and families and everyone was having the hardest time finding each other.. thank God for Cell phones huh. Afterwards, went over to Salamanca's for a mini drunken celebratory get-together. Yeah... it was interesting... yep. Thats all I have to say about that. ;)

Yesterday, spent my whole day over in Ontario for June Board. It was LOOONG... but it was fun and we managed to get a lot of stuff done. :) For the oddest reason, flies kept on swarming around in our meeting room and so it became a mission for everyone to start swapping pads and papers against the wall and table in order to kill kill kill. OH! I also found out that a LOT of us girls are TRADING SPACES groupies and think Ty Pennington is the HOTTEST carpenter that ever sawed. ;) Dinner afterwards was a LOT of fun... our table was going pretty crazy with our talks on rainbows and such. ;) Later on, Pic, Helen, Reina, Tracy, and myself went to IKEA because 1) it was TAX FREE day 2) it was open till MIDNIGHT! 3) I had to get some picture frames for Carlene 4) IKEA! Hello... all around cheap cute home furnishings! We all got to see Pic in action because he started flattering the checkout girl and made her blush... and then later before leaving, he left a paper rose that he had made with a papertowel next to her. SLLIIICCCCKKK!! All happy and Ikea-ed out... we went over to Anaheim and went clubbing. :D (ahhh... the perks of being a non-voting member) HAHA! We were in awe (well not really AWE but more of a WOAH) of the girls going BUCK WILD up on the DJ booth and very much dissapointed when it was the guy's turn up on it. ;P But that was definitely a LOT of fun... especially after we got off the stage and found the part on the dance floor right underneath the air-conditioning. And "shycrazy" Helen just suprised us all. :) *GOOD TIMES*

Drove the kiddies back to their prospective hotels and dorms, came home and was sooooo freaking TIRED. But I had to wait up for Joe... and he finally came and made Carlene and myself watch his promo videos from Barkada... I'm sure they were very nice... but I was just really sleepy so I don't think I was paying attention much. :) Sorry Joe.

Woke up bright and early and drove back to Ontario for the LONGEST BOARD MEETING! OH wells, its all good. I'm really happy cause now I have some money for CKI south and also talking to Don Hull about getting Kiwanis to provide us lunch... so that will be cutting some cost! YAY!! :) Came home and napped... and now just waiting to go over to the Convelasant hospital to go visit Nanang and dad. More to come later? Well see...
