Eek. Sorry for all the "unpretty" boxes... I need to sort out this hotlinking thing as Pete (2008!) says. Goodness I really have no idea how to fix it, but Im sure it can be done.
I have no idea what I just said right now. I'm babbling... and I'm not even in front of a guy... and lords knows that always happens because I think back and wonder "why the hell did I say that!? That didn't even make sense!"
Anyways...
I've been sucking at updating lately huh. Give a girl a job, take a way her life, and well, there you go. Actually, life hasn't been all too bad. There's a new puppy AND last week, I had dinner with Jean and Sakura at work... while I wasn't working. :) It was a delicious night with some tempting drinks and a sweet finale of creme brulee in the end. See... friends + alcohol + sugar. I can't complain.
Work is delightful! I really do love the people there and STILL no one wants to kill me. Well, maybe except Sal. But I will hug the hate out of him if its the last thing I do. :)
oh by the way I think I'm in love with this guy. And its not just for his dancing abilities.

When in Italy, everytime we got onto the coach, we would hear this funky song on the radio and before we knew it, we were singing along to it. Well, as much as we can since I think its in German...
Anyways, so here's just a little something for my travel buddies and for those who just want something funny to see...
Don't know who the kid is... but the song is downright catchy. My luuckkkeeee

uh oh... what?
She's not a girl... not yet a woman... she's our newest PUPPY!
Introducing Britney!
hi
As you can see, she's a beagle, and is double the size of Penelope and Sonny... COMBINED! Seriously.. she's like 20 pounds. Carrying her upstairs is CARDIO!
yeah....?
The other day, her tail WHIPPED me in the eye. I could have went blind.
uh huh
All in all, shes ABSOLUTELY adorable and I have fallen in love. Love I tell you. In love with a 4 month drooler that's about to gain another 10 pounds. I think I should get some flannel shirts so that I can go hunting with this puppy.
Penelope says "HI! Welcome to the party!"

Oh the pains of "REJECTION". Well, not really "REJECTION". More like a "NOTHING." Yeah... er... "NOTHING" sucks. But I'm sure it wouldn't suck as much as "REJECTION".
Luck Doo 79: he's not worth it
Luck Doo 79: maybe he's gay
Luck Doo 79: hahahah
spaznik: hahah a girl can only wish.
Luck Doo 79: that he's gay?
Luck Doo 79: i thought only a gay guy can hope
spaznik: hahahah well i rather have him not like me on account of me not having a penis...
spaznik: then him not liking me on account of... ME.
Luck Doo 79: hahahahahaha
spaznik: you know what im saying?
spaznik: hahah
Luck Doo 79: yeah
Luck Doo 79: so let's hope he's gay

James Brown has gotten into my head...
I feel nice... like sugar and spice.
Carlene and I had a little "SISTER-SISTER" day today since neither of us had school or work. Nothing says "yay sisterly bonding" like going to get your nails done, then puting your freshly moisturized foot into flip flops with slight heels, and tottering around the city like a 12 year old in her first pair of 3 inch pumps. Seriously, when your foot is all oiled up, its downright dangerious to go walking around in shoes that don't have a fabric sole. You'd think that in my 24 years, I'd know this and it would be common sense by know... but apparently I'm still "young" and it was my lesson of the day. So go and share.
The thing about getting my nails done is that I never really know what the manicurist is saying. She's talking to the other manicurists in another language, looking down at my feet, saying something again, and then they all laugh. Oh my gosh, are they talking shit about my feet?! Is there something wrong with them? I know I haven't gotten a pedicure in a long time, but last time I looked, I didn't have claws and my nails were a normal color...
At least now my hands and feet are happy... so bring on the sunshine and open toed shoes!!

spaznik: something on the side you know... just in case the whole air force thing doesnt work out
lpeldoo: and i owe it all to nicole... now everyone can see me type and poop at the same time
spaznik: hahaha and you know there are some SICKOS out there would totally pay.
lpeldoo: hehehhe yuck.... that reminds me.. how are you doing?

THANKS A LOT JEAN!! ;P
1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
At the moment, I only have 340. I used to have a WHOLE LOT MORE, but Carlene burned a good majority of them onto disks so I can have more room on my computer for her evil deeds. Since then though, I've transferred them to my MP3 player and blast away when I'm on the eleptical.
2. The cd you last bought is:
Some FILIPINO ACOUSTIC LOVESONG cd I got after Christmas. I saw it at the filipino grocery store and saw that it had a song by the OH SO DELICIOUS Piolo Pascual. Yes Kristine... he is on MY list. ;)
3. What is the song you last listened to before reading this message
Ciara-Hotline Great. Now I want to dance... gimme space!
4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you: This is hard because there are soooo many songs that I love. But off the top of my head some of my favorite EAR CANDY...
Pink Martini- Amado Mio. I TOTALLY love this band and one day I SHALL see them live. But for the meantime, mp3s and cds will have to do. This song for me is their ABSOULTE best because play it and it takes you away. You're moving your shoulders, swaying to the music, and wishing that someone will wisk you into his arms and seductively dance with you with a rose in his mouth.... or something of the sort. ;)
Nat King Cole Trio- There I've Said It Again Actually pretty much everything recorded by Nat King Cole does it for me, but there's a certain sweetness to this song that makes me want to go to sleep and just dream away. Wow. This is getting cheesy.
Madonna- Borderline Cause it reminds me of the summer of 98. I had just gotten my car and was out with Melissa. We were jamming away to the entire Immaculate collection when we realized that the truckfull of old men next to us where watching, enjoying, and laughing our performance. I would have passed by them... if only we weren't in traffic. *good times*
Edwin McCain-I'll Be (Star Lounge Acoustic version) This song is absolutely beautiful. That's all I can say about it.
Luis Miguel- Sabor A Mi While I was growing up, my dad went through a huge Luis Miguel phrase, even though he doesn't speak a word of spanish. Anyways, on the weekends, every morning, this song would BLAST through the house and wake everyone up. I still remember seeing my parents dance to it every once and a while. Before I used to hate it because he used to play it over and over and over again, but when I listen to it now, I understand why he enjoyed it so much. The music itself is so moving that you really don't have to understand the lyrics...
I also really like the HORNY SONG by Mousse T. Vs Hot 'N' Juicy on the South Park CHEF AID soundtrack. "Horny horny horny..."
5. Who are you going to pass this stick to? (3 persons) and why?
Kristine- I know she'll have some good answers. ;)
Luc- I know he'll have some good answers. :)
YOU because... I'm sure you'll have some good answers. That and I can't think at the moment
~*~
This past weekend, I FINALLY got to go out and party. It seriously felt like a LONG time since I've been able to really go and enjoy myself, so I was super excited over the fact that I was going to be able to go and DANCE... in public and not in the the comforts of my bedroom. So Friday night, it was off clubbing with Jean, Carol, Beth, Ryan and Andy to go play and drink... AND I was able to bring along my quasi date for the night, Luc, so double yay for that. :)
Drinks were a plenty, the music was loud, and the company was great. What more can a girl ask for?
Shut up Luc. ;P
I swear, I love Luc.
But not in that way of course.
