Wow... this past week has been a whirlwind of school, work, and sleep. Summer has ended, I now have to wake up at the break of dawn, and my sleeping pattern is now offically out of wack because of this. What to do...

Back to school... Although hectic, its been a great first week. :) My classes are great, people are great, getting some great parking... yep. ITS BEEN GREAT! okok... perhaps I'm showing too much of an overzealous psychotic YAY SCHOOL side... but I guess in a nutshell I'm happy to be back. Even if the commute part truly sucks ass. (MWF wake up at 6am, be on the road by 6:30am, get to school by am7, read/sleep/stare into space for 45 minutes and go to class at 8am... Tues and Thursdays, classes start at 2:30 so it isnt too bad.... my work hours will fit somewhere there... its pretty darn good. The thing I realized was how much time I actually spent at CSUF. During my year at MtSac, I went to school and then I came home. School... home. School... home. I don't know why the pattern came to be that way, perhaps since it was so close to home, might as well just go there and study or maybe because I wasn't feeling the atmosphere... but it's completely different at CSUF. Even though its 15 miles away... traffic SUCKS. So.. you don't want to leave all too soon... even so, I'm so at home at the union. I can just sit there and study and be completely content. :) Not to mention those comfy chairs that you can just knock out in. *sigh* And you run into everyone there, or people just know that you're there and can easily find you... you know? I love it there... It makes me wanna go out and buy a brand new school sweatshirt. :)

My real FUN day this week (even though it was busy) was Thursday. Had gone to work in the morning. OH my gosh... I got so freaked out at work. I was there by myself (again) and this man enters the store. SO... I'm thinking to myself.. He's going to kill me! He says that Bob, the landlord sent him here and he's here to fix the pipes. "Yeah right... nice excuse kidnapping murder!" So I let him in the store "EEEK! What have I done!!" And I call Brandi my boss in the front office after I've led him into the warehouse "I'm prepared to run and call the cops if there really is something fishy going on... PLUS I had my big hubangeous sissors with me so yeah... BRING IT ON! oh.. not really... but I will call the cops if needed" but it was all right "Whew!" because Brandi said that the landlord had called and yes someone was coming over to fix the aircondioning "WHAT! I thought the pipes!" Opps.. the pipes to the vent for the aircondining "double WHEW" and I was safe. :) So yeah... I survived my close call with a non-quasi-psychopath-kidnapping-killer. "YAY!!"

Ok.. that wasn't the real fun of the day... ;P

Got off of work (ALIVE!) and went to school.. had my class and then drove over to LA to pick up Joe! Then, even though he lives like 5 exits away we still get lost driving to CITYWALK for the last and final night of their outdoor movie drive in thingie. The movie selection was GREASE!! :) YAY!! Citywalk was PACKED! But luckily after Joe and I had put our blankets down to mark our spot, the security guard cited that the area in front of was was to be a NO PARKING (sort to speak... no laying your blankets) area. So we sat there and waited for Carrie, Mondo, and Carlene and her friend Eph... and we all just sat on the concrete in front of the jumbotron and sang along with the movie. Like the past movies there, they had dancers again and people from the audience were going up and dancing with them... *good times* Afterwards, just chilled (loitered) at the cafe and chatted about how Joe would look like an egg (DONT MAKE HIM CUT HIS HAIR!) and Miss Teen America, and oh but of course AMERICAN IDOL. ;)

So.. on the sucky side... I got home at 2am.. but had to get up at 6am for my same school ritual. ;P BLEH.

Anyways so now its the weekend (YAY!) I have no weddings (double YAY) except I need to go in on Sunday to finish some rolling (oh wait YAY?) but its all good cause I get Monday off! (YAAAAAY!) :) And then it all starts again....

spaznik: soo... i had the weirdest dream...
ckicarrie: uh oh...what about? :-)
spaznik: i was in NY.
spaznik: staying at this really nice hotel...
spaznik: and mel gibson was folding a bathtub full of towels...
spaznik: and then I go to TRL... and I'm talking to Ben Afflect on my phone...
spaznik: but then we get disconnected...
spaznik: and so he comes over to this house that I'm visiting with a bunch of his homie (no matt damon) in this giant monster truck....
spaznik: and he's all touchy feely... but its not him that i like.. its his one really cute friend...
ckicarrie: hahahaha, oh dear lord. :-)
spaznik: anyways go back to the hotel and you and manny are there...
spaznik: and we're all kicking it...
spaznik: but then for some reason we all go to the pool...
spaznik: and we have to walk through the hotel with towels...
spaznik: and then lo and behold ben and his homies are there...
spaznik: and like theres no elevators only stairs.. and they're inside the big fancy restaurant part...
spaznik: so i have to walk through that fancy restaurant part with my towel...
spaznik: you and manny dissappeared...
ckicarrie: hahahhaahahah
spaznik: but then the cute friend of ben afflect comes and offers his jacket...
spaznik: it was really really sweet...
ckicarrie: wow...
spaznik: so then i go upstairs and I get ready... and i remember what im wearing... its a white lace top with a white lace shawl.. skirt... and a black lace bracelet...
spaznik: and I go outside to meet the guy... and that was it!!
spaznik: I WOKE UP!!

*I need to mention that anytime I was up in my hotel room in my dream, Mel Gibson was STILL folding towels... weirdness.... But it was a really nice dream. Quite long and movie-like... but I think I was just tired from yesterday that my subconcious was giving me a little gift of fantasy...

I got the idea from JR ;)

*palm reading through yahoo*
spaznik: so do you put your palm up to the monitor?
spaznik: rub the computer in a certain way?
TightN10: nah
TightN10: you just compare
TightN10: LOL
TightN10: yea
TightN10: first you rub your chest tho
TightN10: in public
TightN10: thats the key

so.. here are the results... kinda interesting...

You have a good imagination, and often exhibit sensitivity to others.

There is a tremendous amount of intensity in your mental processes. Your ability to concentrate is excellent. At times you have the ability to focus your mind so strongly that the rest of the world is shut out.

You have so many interests that you may have trouble deciding which ones to pursue. This can make you seem very contradictory, since you are so passionate and sincere about each new idea you embrace.

There may be times in your life when you give in to feelings of sadness or depression.

You have the ability to detach your emotions from a situation and make objective decisions.

One possible character flaw is a tendency to be inconsistent or untrustworthy. You may have to work to develop more consideration and cooperation.

There are inconsistencies in your energy level, possibly triggered by external factors or emotional changes.

Your high energy level draws people to you.

You have a basically strong constitution, and should enjoy good health most of the time.

You were probably given a good start in life by your parents. This could be based on your general upbringing, or on physical characteristics you inherited.

There is a strong intuitive side to your nature, which may border on psychic or mystical ability.

YAY! I'm back at CSUF. :) Like I was telling Justin earlier this month... I really really missed it. The moment I stepped on to the campus it was like.. "ahhhhhhh..." Everywhere I went, I thought of some fun/quirksome memory... like when I was walking in the parking lot, I remembered the time I fell in the bushes trying to cut through them... or how I fell in the Shuttle... or just kicking it with everyone at the "TABLE" with our gallery guys. :) The sun was shining.. the birds were chiriping, and everything was just dandy. :) Okok... so I got there really early so I didn't have to deal with the usual craptacular parking and some of my professors were complete jerks... but on a whole... it was a really good day.

:) Weirdest thing... but I swear it was HOOTCHIE GALORE today. It was like they were all going to go clubbing! How can you girls walk across campus in those heels AND with that bookbag on your back? Silly silly freshmen...

OH, a bit on the sad side is that it seems like almost everyone is gone. no Keri... no JP... no Brett...no Mai... no Big Tina... no more Stephie *I'm not touching you*, Danielle, Raquel... it seems like they all graduated or just transfered out. But at least (little) Tina is still there! YAAY!! :) It seems like the whole year I was away, we saw each other probably like 4 times... and now... I can see her all the time! YAY! OH and double YAY because Stephanie is still there too... together we are going to work that club. :) Its going to be a great year...

AAAAAAaaAAAAACCKkKKK!! I'm going back to school in a few minutes...

But its a good thing. I think.

At least I have someone to ride with this morning... :) YAY CARPOOL LANE!

Yes... its back to the TSU, the crappy elevators in McCarthy, the Titan Shuttle, and hideous benches that look like coffins. :) I'm so happy.

a quickie...
*on the topic of sex*
P O T A T E YO: you can't run from it forever catholic school girl!!
P O T A T E YO: Moooooohahahahahahaaaaaa!
spaznik: hahahahah... i dunno if i should be scared.. or really happy.
P O T A T E YO: hahaha
P O T A T E YO: me neither!

So today, we had a party at my dad/aunt's house for my grandma's 90th birthday. My nanang is 90 years old... incredible. It makes me laugh to think that every holiday for the past 8 years, JR would ask God to watch over Nanang in his grace before dinner since "this year might be her last year" and well shes really proving JR wrong.

Anyways, this blog has some history... so bare with it so that you'll understand...

Back in the day... I used to play the piano. I had played since I was 5 years old and pretty promising. I was so much in love with music that I actually wanted to become a concert pianist. But then it kinda got out of hand. My dad was a bit of the piano nazi... I had to play in the morning before I went to school, practice every day for an hour (3 hours during the summer) and whenever we had guests over at the house, I was pulled out of my room, kicking, screaming and crying... and forced to play. Refusing wasn't an issue. Play prettily or get it later on.

After my sophomore year of high school, I stopped taking lessons and practicing on an everyday basis. I wasn't happy anymore...

And when Mom and I left, my dad took sole custody of the piano.

So 8 years of playing in front of family ended today. My dear dear cousin Bombie asked me to play (*ahem* pushed in a nice way) and I was back on the bench. I felt the pressure. I could see my dad in the corner of my eye looking at me as I was at the piano... it got to me. Bombie was teasing me and it wasn't soo bad because I could laugh at it, but it got to me that I couldn't play anymore. It was a bit weird... because my fingers knew what they were doing, but not. You know what I mean? I felt comfortable... but then again I was OFF and I couldn't remember anything. In a way, I was a bit sad about the whole thing because I had let my anger to control me when I had been younger and the proof was that I had lost this talent that I had worked so hard to refine in the first place.

But on the bright side, mom said that she wants to save up for a piano after we finish with all the things the house needs... so I can start all over from scratch and play because I want to. :) happy times. :D

Yesterday became "TAKE YOUR SISTER TO WORK DAY" since my boss is out of town and Carlene needed me to drive her about because of her car troubles... but it was GREAT because she helped me majorly in the shop. :) Yes... together we rolled bags and bags of chiffon. Not that exciting, but for me it was sooo much fun to have another person in the store with me as opposed to me going slightly crazy all by my pretty self.

Actually started the day off REALLY early (6am.. ok for some this really isn't THAT early, but for me its gosh darn too early.) because my Tita Helen and family came down from Vallejo and had spent the night and were on their way to Universal Studios. So since my mom leaves (earlier) in the morning, it was up to Carlene and I to play good hosts. But they were already bright, chipper, and loaded up in the van by the time we did wake up... so we didn't get to make breakfast for them. Anyways, since we were already up, and for I couldn't for the life of me get back to sleep, I stayed up and spent some quality time eating breakfast and watching CNN with Carlene. Then I took her to work. ;)

Last night, celebrated Joe's birthday with dinner at BJs. Good stuff... everyone was loud and happy and eating. :) The stuff you'd expect from a birthday dinner. Afterwards, Joe went off to West Hollywood to go clubbing and the remainding peeps (the CKIers) walked across the parking lot to TGIF where I heard the word "vagina" come out of Jimmy and Manny's mouth more often that I had liked to. :P OH wells...

OH... for all those people voting for NIKKI on AMERICAN IDOL please STOP!! Good gracious.... Oh... and Paula Abdul... you need to stop too. Same with those retarded hosts Dunkleman and Seacrest. Simon.. you can stay... ;) My little 2 cents...

jeanYAH: hahahahahahaha

jeanYAH: okay!
jeanYAH: i don't think they're there anymore though
spaznik: oh curses...
spaznik: we'll just take any passer-byer... whos is worthy enough to be in a porn.
jeanYAH: hahah
spaznik: so either 1) he's HOT or 2) has a big penis. bonus points to the guy for both.
jeanYAH: what about a dirty old bum who has a big penis
spaznik: hey.. youre the one IN the porn.
spaznik: i guess you can pick.
spaznik: :-)
jeanYAH: oh..
jeanYAH: we can share
jeanYAH: you can be in it

YAY! My mom and Carlene are back from their trip from New York! :) They left the day before I got back from Florida, so we all had stories about our vacations. My mom, sister and Aya went absolutely BUCK WILD shopping in NY. So while I barely shopped in Orlando, they definitely made up for my lack of purchases. Somehow they managed to come back with 14 purses and a whole load of I HEART NY shirts. INSANE I tell you... IN-FREAKING-SANE. Anyways, they had a LOT of fun (Carlene even got to see Joey Fatone in RENT), and now they're back and we're all VERY content with the weather. Its good to be home with everyone here.... I missed them... :)

OH... one big thing before I forget...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!! :)
*muah*

Monday, August 19, 2002

The last couple of days have been busy. :) But a good kind of busy... I think.

Thursday, spent the day with Alice over at the Ontario Convention Center for Kiwanis Convention doing the supply sales. AhhHHHHh... the art of haggling. ;) It reminds me of my youth whenever I went shopping with my dad at the antique stores or just in downtown LA. After the whole thing, grabbed some dinner with Alice, Armando, and Joe... and then headed back to Mondo's room where the hotel accidently gave him free porn! HEY HEY HEY!!

Friday and Saturday, I guess signified the end of my "vacation" because I went back to work. Friday... back to the shop, the flowers, and the buzz of the fans. All by myself... but with my radio turned up really loud so I can dance around like a gypsy amid the 50 yards of chiffon that I was rolling. :) Saturday, made some human contact when I decorated a reception in Montebello with Brandi and Doug. :) Not to sound cocky, but I'm getting good at my job. I can drape a column like nothing and i'm like this twinkle light goddess.

Late Saturday night, Joe came over so that we could go get some copies made for the board meeting the next day. So its 1am and we go to the Copyclub thats near my house, and where we have gone before during the weehours of the morning because it WAS 24 hours, but this time... IT WAS CLOSED. SO we weren't completely discouraged and we just drove on down to Chino to the KINKOS there, but lo and hold... the freaking store is CLOSED too! When did KINKOS change their way of life? KINKOS closed?!?! I never heard of such a thing.. but there it was... with the lights off and the doors locked. I half expected a giant cow with wings to slam into me because I thought that I saw everything that I needed to see at that very moment.

Joe refused to go on with the search, so he said we would just wake up extra early and then go get the copies made before the meeting. "No prob," I thought... "it should be easy!"

Unfortunantly, I didn't wake up to all 3 of my alarms... but I did wake up when Joe came into my room at 8:30am asking me when we were to be at the hotel.

"9:00" I replied.

"GET OUT OF BED!" he screamed. (it seems that Joe only screams at me during these unfortunant instances that involve Xeroxing. Last time it was "GET OUT OF THE CAR" during that horrid xerox run durin STC.)

But then I remembered that the meeting actually started at 9:30... so we weren't completely screwed. We got ready in record time and drove on over to Copyclub (which was STILL closed) and then to the KINKOS (where we xeroxed the things that we felt were ABSOLUTELY NEEDED.) It was then that I SERIOUSLY thought I saw everything, because the speedometer on Joe "Mr. I Drive According to the MPH on the Signs" Regala went 105 PMH on the freeway. I thought that was it then and there that I was going to die... but we didn't... and in fact made it to the meeting with time to spare. I swore to never make a "Joe drives slow" joke ever again.

After the meeting, got to ride in Petey's jeep with Gina and Tracy over to BJs for lunch. We met up with everyone and it was a GREAT lunch cause everyone was talking and having fun. :) YAY FUN! Afterwards spent the rest of the day (I kid you not) in the living room in front of the TV with Joe, Mondo, and Jordan. It was a Ben Stiller-athon since we watched ZOOLANDER, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS, and MEET THE PARENTS. After the Stiller-aton, Joe and I watched KARATE KID, the American Idol tape that Keri made for me, and DEUCE BIGALOW. Yeep... it wasn't a very productive day, but hey I only have week of vacation before its back to school so I guess I'm excused to be a bum right??

Anyways for the rest of the week it should be more fun and exciting activities... hopefully. :) We shall see....

Thursday, August 15, 2002

Although my clock says 12:01am... my body is acting as if its 3:01am. But it has a been a week since I've felt the glow of the monitor against my cheek and so I blog because I'm home and getting back into my routine of nightly addictions.

Florida was HUMID. It was icky, hot, muggy, humid, and gosh darn FUN! :)

Lets start at the very begining....

Arrived in Florida last Wednesday afternoon after spending 5 hours on a plane and 2 quite dramatic hours at LAX. I had spent the night in Long Beach (actually sleeping for a whopping 60 mintues) and Carlene and Michael dropped me off at LAX @ 4:45am. Fortunantly, Armando was right behind me and I didn't have to wait long to get into the line to check in. There was a huge mixup at the ticket counter, but luckily everything had worked out and by the time that happened, it was time to board the plane.

The first 2 hours, I was bright, chipper, and actually quite chatty.... the remainder of the flight, the lack of sleep caught up to me and I knocked out. ( I didn't even partake in the Southwest snack of fruitsnacks, cheese crackers, and oreos.) I woke up when the "I think he's drunk" pilot start swerving like mad and had missed his first attempt to land in Orlando. Anyways, we made it on the ground, got our luggage, met up with Alice, and we all faced the humidity.

OH MY GOSH. Let me elaborate for a second on the humidity over in Florida. Its like the Philippines... its hot, muggy, sticky, and just makes you wanna walk with your arms akimbo while repeatly going "blahhh blahh blahhh." Its like you are in the palm of a giant's hand... and the giant is breathing open mouthed over you.

Anyways, I guess we had this look of "ultimate lost tourist" on us, because this taxi guy offered to help us out... and he did after we all exchanged looks of utter confusion on what would be the right choice and if we should trust this stranger.... but we did, and he took us to our hotel. The Doubletree Club in Lake Buena Vista. :) This hotel was GREAT... it was bright, it was happy, it had pinapples on the side of it... it looked as if Marth Stewart had one to many margaritas and went shitface on the decor.

After settling in and watching some "disney channel", we dedicided to make the most of our DAY 1. So we walkeded on over to the Macroni Grill that was some blocks away from our hotel... and then walked off our dinner by going to Downtown Disney.

The Downtown Disney in Orlando seriously puts the Anaheim one to shame. Mondo, Alice and myself were just oohing and ahhing over everything (and ran through some fountains). All my senses were in playful overload. It seemed like there was so much to look at and not enough time to experience it all. After walking through 2 of the 3 sections of Downtown Disney, we watched SIGNS there, (oh my goodness, talk about traumatizing!!) and walked back to our Copacobana. By 1am-ish, Manny arrived at our hotel, but I couldn't play much due to the fact that I had gotten sick the night before leaving at home. (something about sleeping with the fan on... blahh)

8am, Thursday morning, we all woke up in order to be bright eyed and ready for our 9:15 shuttle to EPCOT. I was a happy camperette. It all hit me right then and there... I WAS IN FLORIDA!(imagine oboxious nerdy dance that involved some high pitched yelping and jumping up and down for maximum effect)

EPCOT was absolutely so much fun! (even if the damn parade was cancelled and there was no ride in Norway:() The funny thing that I had noticed was the crazy amount of alcohol sold there. Along with your usual thirst quenchers such as coke, sprite, bottled watter... you can get (plastic) bottled beer at refreshment stands. And in the world showcase, they sell the whatever the certain nation's "alcohol"... so after our lunch in Moracco (where Alice and I actually dared to taste the food... yum!), we walked back to France and had some dessert and wine. (ooh la la. ;))

Oh, by the way, convinced that Disney kidnapped their workers for the world showcase. Hence the charming accents that matched and accompanied the country... as well the sour and not quite delightful disposition.

There was this one brass band show (with gay dancers... not a sarcastic comment, its a fact.) that we had watched in the USA (we sell smirnoff and sky blue as the country's alcohol) portion of EPCOT, and the guys in it were DAMN hot. ;) Oh.... the actual firework show too was pretty amazing too....

That night, went to Pleasure Island for some WICKED clubbing. Pleasure Island is part of Downtown Disney... but its only 18+. So you pay... and you have access to 8 different clubs. It was soooo GREAT! We mst up with Jean, Sakura, Carrie, Megan, Pic, and the other kids who arrived earlier for the LSSP and danced amid the HOT guys. (I KID YOU NOT. THERE ARE SOME HOOOOOOTT GUYS IN FLORIDA. Yes... nicole was a very happy camperette.) This time, we didn't walk back and everyone ended up at our hotel for some catching up. :)

The next morning, got a very rude wakeup call in the form of a fire alarm...

"where were we? ahh yes... "

Day 3. Finally got out of bed and ready, and Mondo, Alice, and myself went over to Magic Kingdom where almost all the rides we rode on stalled on us. Ok. DISNEYLAND is WAAAAAYYY better. They don't have Indiana Jones nor the Matterhorn! But we still had fun. Had the bejesus scared out of me after this one "ALIEN ENCOUNTER" ride that involved something feeling like it was licking my neck. *shudder* You gotta love those fast track tickets... :)

*after going on 20 second Goofy roller coaster:
Mondo: (looking at the kids in line) Its not worth it.

The funniest thing happen at Mickey's toontown. We were in line to meet Mickey Mouse and there was this kid in front of us who at first was happy to meet him. But once our group got inside the room, he started worring. Then, when it was his turn to meet the mouse, he went absolutely ballistic- screaming, kicking, crying bloody muder... and to make it worse.. his parents were pushing and forcing him to take the picture. Poor kid... it was too funny though. It was kinda like me when Mondo wanted to go on the teacups dragged me kicking and screaming for help with my bookbag to the line.... but at least I won. ;P

That night, Alice and I went back to Pleasure Island with Billings, and met up with Luc. *party party!*

Saturday morning, DAY 4, our room is now completely full with Manny, Armando, Ryan, Joe, Alice and myself. And though the wait line for the bathroom was pretty long, it wasn't so bad... we later checked out and had breakfast at the IHOP next door were we sat in the worst non-smoking area. (I always forget that its California that has the NO SMOKING ANYWHERE law)

waitress at IHOP: Can I get you anything?
Joe: *under his breath* An airfilter.

The 6 of us with 14 pieces of luggages took a taxi to the Carrbe Royal, the offical ICON hotel. (Oh... let me add that I had completely forgotten ICON and my purpose of going to Florida in the first place due to the oodles of fun I was having at Disney... :)). This hotel is sooooooooooooooooo gorgeous! Lucky Jean, Tanya, Kieu, Sakura, Joe, Ryan, Sean and I got our villa, so our suite was really nice. (complete with 2 bedrooms, a complete kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 queen, 1 king, 1 sofabed, 3 tvs, 3 phones, a dining area, a stereo system, AND a hottub. :) AhhHhhhhhh... luxury.

Anyways, settled in, worked on some campaign stuff for Carrie and then... it was OPENING SESSION! 1000 crazy and loud CKI'ers al cheering and happy... it was soo great! The entertainment for the night was the "Dating Doctor" which I think may have encouraged many to go out on this "hook up" frenzy. After the session, I finally ran into Mr. Pete Holiday (DANCE!!!) went back to Pleasure Island with Luc, Petey, Tracy, Lauren, and Jordan (who completely suprised me by knowing all the lyrics to Michael Jackson's PYT... and danced to it!). We got some cool free cups from Mario, our waitor at Denny's who taunted me and kept on forgetting about me ;P and we made a lot of smart remarks caucus porn (Debbie Does Caucus) and petey's dolphins and 25 cent flavored water.

DAY 5 consisted mainly of walking with Carrie for her campaign. :) Carrie knew her shit and well she blew them all away. I was her offical water girl, as well as literature passer-outter. That night, it was the Govenors Gala, were Cal-Nev-Ha probably annoyed everyone with our excitment and zealous cheers, and then we all freaked the night away at the dance. Anyways, after the dance, I met Ryan (take it off, give me a hug and I'll give you a lei) from Ohio, who invited us to a party over at the Ohio District room where the theme was "hugs and kisses." They had hershey kisses around the room and had filled their hottub with these bottled sugar watered drinks called "hugs." It was SOOOOOOOOO insane... hahahahaha.. who would have thought that sugar water could be so much fun! :) It was like a weird sober GIRLS GONE WILD/FRAT PARTY with koolaid like drunks... Kids chanting "chug-a-hug" as well as "O-HI-O", and we can't forget the wicked dancing that Alice, Luc, Petey, Manny and myself started there....Well, we made some friends over there.. ;P

DAY 6 slept in during the day, where I missed the House of Delegates. Mostly worked with Carrie again on her campagin and then it was caucus time once again. This time though it was RAINING like mad outside and everyone was soaked. I think it was by that day, I had completely lost my voice and was feeling really crappy due to the rain. FORTUNANTLY, the rain stopped by the time the caucus and our district meeting session was over... so Joe, Luc, Petey went back to Pleasure Island for some clubbing, got a late dinner at McDonalds, and then went back to our villa... where we had our very own birthday party for Ryan.

*kenny wearing his LTG: LIKES TOUCHING GIRLS shirt*
Ryan: Take off your jacket Kenny. Its my birthday!

We even got some LA-MISS-TEN peeps there... (um... it was Joe's fault for his sarcastic comment on a big party in CNH!) We also comtemplated ways on how we can be more "ghetto" for the upcoming HOD. *ahhhh shhiiiiit*

Tuesday was our last offical day... woke up in time for the club awards session (where our district totally ROCKED), and then it was the final House of Delegates (YAY CARRIE AND YAY PIC!) where 2 Kiwanians serenaded us with their version of Atlantic Starr's ALWAYS, a celebratory dinner with Carrie, Megan, and John (that was after contemplating if the lighting and rain might kill us...but it didnt. It was soo creepy, outside our hotel, we could see the rain swirling around in this hurricane motion! ), and then the closing session were we got DISTINGUISHED DISTRICT! One more dance (were we located our new Ohio buddies and got buck wild with them.. oh wait.. we got buck wild with everyone!!) And then another mini party in our villa were Chris Anderson freaked me out with his games and his making out with people's fingers, new friends from the Southwest district who came by (made Joe very happy) and my attempting to blackmail Scott to crank call some rooms that didn't happen. ;P I had about an hours sleep that morning... and by the time I woke up.. it was time to go to the airport.

The ride back home was entertaining? I got my window seat (YAY) but at first it was really sucky because there was condensation from the airconditioning that was falling from the ceilling right above my seat. But once in the air, it stopped. OH!! but also, I sat next to Joe who wanted to break my CDS for some odd reason, and behind me sat Mondo who proceeded to hit my seat everytime I was just about to get comfortable. I was being bullied from all corners... :( Luckily, I seperated from them over in Phoenix were I immediently knocked out on my flight to Ontario. I woke up when the little girl sitting in front of me started screaming for her dog "Rawley" outside the window. :) Too cute. Got to Ontario in shape, and found Keri and Tre waiting downstairs for me in the terminal. :) YAY Big thanks to Keri for picking me up... and keeping me updated on the happenings of AMERICAN IDOL. ;)

*some random stuff that I couldn't fine places to fit in*
-In all my 4 days at the Caribe Royale, althought they had continental breakfast, I didn't eat it. In fact, I didn't eat much while on vacation which is VERY weird because when usually on vacation, its all eating. Weirdness. I had probably one meal every day... and I was fine with it.
-As you can tell, everynight did some sort of dancing... either Pleasure Island's Motions or a dance at ICON.... definitely a weird thing was that each and everynight I danced, they ALWAYS played this COTTON EYED JOE hick/techno song that I sorta began to like. :) Oh lets not forget ITS GETTING HOT IN HEEEERRR
-I don't know if I mentioned it, but although there were HOT guys in Florida (and the my guy friends say that there were some hot girls there too)... NO ONE COULD DANCE TO THE BEAT TO SAVE THEIR LIVES. Folks would be in these giant circle of freakiness... and it was just ugly and awkward and it looked like everyone was bouncing. But it still was a lot of fun... and hey... the guys were HOT. (to that one guy in red and blue stripes on thursday night.... DAMMIT!!)

So... that was my trip. From LAX to Orlando... and from Orlando to Ontario. :) It was a BLAST! Soooooooooooooo much freaking fun! Im just really sad because 1) *duh* its over and 2) dumbass me was just being really lazy with my camera and didn't take as many pictures as I had wanted to. Argh... But anyways, it definitely was a *goodtime* Got to meet new people, get closer with the people I already knew, see the sights, didn't get bitten by a mosquito... and all I can say is: whoooohooo!! lets do it again!

My bags are 98% packed... and in approximately 19 hours, I'll be soaring over the country over to ORLANDO, FLORIDA! (obnoxious *YAY* of pure joy and happiness inserted here.)

Now all I gotta do is clean up the shambles of my room, wait for Joe so that we can get the shirts, maybe go pick up some last minute stuff, and then drive on over to Long Beach where I will reside until it is time to go to LAX. Gosh... I hope I'm not forgetting anything... but if I do, I know I can call someone *ahem Joe* and have them bring it when they get to Orlando on Friday. Yeeep. Oh the excitmentt... :D Expect a *hopefully* long detailed blog next week...

Anyways, aside from going to getting ready to leave, I'm a bad ass and I installed new blinds in my room. I AM A GENIUS. ;) I learned how to work the drill gun thingie... and althought there are more holes in my wall then I originally intended (as well as some teeny tiny dents on my wall where I proceeded to hit it while learning the ins and outs of the drill gun thingie with much frustration), I'd say its looking pretty damn fine. And to make things even better... it works perfectly too! *gasp* I totally rock... :)

Thinking about Florida reminded me of when we went to Orlando for a family vacation when I was about 7 years old. It was just the 4 of us, galavanting around the state, visiting as many amusement parks possible. Actually, I think it was even the first trip where my mom and dad asked Carlene and I were we wanted to go for vacation because I can't hardly fathom why my dad would have wanted to go to Florida without having an actual purpose (i.e. family, friends, some gala of the sort). But in the end, the whole vacation was a happy one. :) We did all your normal touristy stuff, went to Disneyworld, Epcot, and Bush Gardens... my mom had said that we didn't have to go to Universal Studios because we already had one here in California and was kinda eh about going to Disneyworld itself since we lived right next to the OG Disney.

I remember this vacation as the one where I thought the Florida toothfairy was WAY better than the California toothfairy.

But in actuality, my mom just messed up big time... in a good way of course.

Before when I lost a tooth and put it underneath my pillow, the toothfairy would leave me a dollar. Well, while vacationing in Florida, I bit into an apple and my tooth just poped out. So I did the usual pretoothfairy ritual and slept with it under my pillow. In the morning, though, there was no dollar. There was no dollar anywhere. I really wasn't a greedy child, I just wanted my share. A tooth came out of my mouth, I did what I needed to do, and I didn't get paid. Whats up with that!?! Well, my mom played dumb and insisted that everyone search the bed for my "handsome reward" but alas, it was nowhere on the bed. Few minutes later, I found it. Folded into the collar of my pound puppy was a crisp, shiny TWENTY dollar bill. Yes, I said TWENTY. I screamed and jumped for joy while my mom looked absolutely SHOCKED. I guess while in the dark, fumbling for the usual dollar, she misfumbled and took out the twenty instead . A simple and OH SO WICKED mistake. It made me want move to Florida right then and there... not to mention made me want to start knocking my teeth out on an everyday basis. I don't remember what I bought with it, but I do remember my mom fondly telling me that I was a lucky girl and that my tooth was a special tooth with a very high value. I remember my dad's around me and him joking with me about wanting to stay in Florida forever. I remember being so happy on that vacation... we were like your regular Bradys. It was only the 4 of us and everything seemed absolutely perfect.

OH... since I'm on the topic of family, can you please pray for my Lola in the Phillippines? Things aren't looking too good and we're all pretty worried. Thanks so much... it really means a lot to me.

Carlene and I have this thing whenever we hear a Kylie Minogue song, we'll automatically start doing the robot. Its very dorky but its gosh darn hilarious... to us. We've very much mastered the art of the robot dance all because of this one artist. ;) Funny thing is that one time I was with Joe and when a kylie song came on, we BOTH started doing the robot. Is this just instinct that everyone does the robot to kylie? Or was it a freakish coincidence? HmmMmMm?

Look!! Its Sunday... that means tomorrow is Monday... and then the day after is Tuesday... and THEN its Wednesday! And guess whats happening on Wednesday?? HmmMMmm.... I'M GOING TO ORLANDO! :) Can you sense my excitment? I've been raiding my closet the past week and dorky nerdy me wrote down and coordinated everything that that I needed to pack right down to the perfect matching shoe. yesterday, I considered myself to be 90% packed because I'm still using my shampoo, conditioner, and other tolietries... *note to self: don't forget to put pack the brita pitcher and to place clean socks inside it so that it will be more space efficient. :)

At midnight, Erica turned 13.

We pulled over the car while driving through the boonie and oh so dark backroad of Carbon Canyon, where Carlene, Andrew, and myself made her get out with us and proceeded to dance around the car to N.E.R.D.'s "Lapdance" while screaming and cheering obnoxiously... Chelle and her car-full of cousins and Melissa, pulled up behind us and looked at us like we were insane.

When you think about it... 13 was this great age where you finally became this big bad ass teenager. Carlene and I were telling the youngins in the car that they had it lucky because everything seemed to be an adventure for them. Like a simple trip to Pasadena was a big deal... you know, a date would be made, you would all meet up at someones house and get ready, you'd bring your camera and go picture wild, you'd just walk around and hang out... it was something so simple and yet it was this great big affair because you were going "somewhere." Now... I guess we're just spoiled with the fact that we CAN do it and so it isn't as exciting anymore. Plus doing something like that can be a pain because you drive all day long, everyone has different schedules and its hard to meet up, people don't want to do what you want to do, you dont want to pay for the gas, you dont want to pay for parking, why go out when you can just chill at home, paying cover fees and buying overpriced drinks... etc. It just seems difficult to try to plan those "grand" affairs of our teenage years. I guess maybe this is why I'm so spontaneous... planning on ways to make everyone happy is such a bitch sometimes. I love it when you can just pick up and go somwhere just because you feel like it. Somethings, you can't do of course... I mean if you feel like going to the moon then thats going to be a toughy... but hey Vegas has been done (twice!) and I'm sure that if you want to go crazy with that credit card.. you COULD go to Paris for the weekend. :) It doesn't have to be big either... I think the best times I have is when I'm with my friends or family and we just decide "hey... lets go bowling" or "hey... lets go to the 24 hour walmart" or "hey... lets go to the Hustler store!" *good times*

Tis I! Someone you've never met! I just thought i'd say hi, seeing as i was reading your blog, and my boss stepped out ^_^
So. You seem a lot like me. or....we seem similar i should say :P
So hi. And Here's an email for you :)
Gosh I'm bored.
.....

Great. Another person to think of me as a freak! woo hoo!!! lol
ttfn
sarah

Wow... Its not a porn email, or an email trying to sell me something... nor is it a CKI email (which I really don't mind getting), its just a random email saying HI. How sweet is that! :) It isn't TOO freaky... at least the person didn't say, "HEY.. I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE... LOOK OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW" and I'll see a figure clad in black, chillin on my driveway with a laptop... and there wasn't a threat in it... so its a good email. :) THANKS!!

With all the recent kidnappings going on... I've been really aware of my surroundings, which is a good thing, but I'm kind of becoming borderline paranoid. Today at work for instance, I made sure I had my cellie in my pocket, another phone and any kind of blunt object nearby me while in the shop, and my eye on the doorway and any possible emergency exits. Its just scary... I was again startled when Brandi came in for the day cause as usual I wasn't prepared and *poof* she appeared out of nowhere! But I'm safe... especially with all those manly carshops and other man-working warehouses right next door... or at least I'd like to think so.

Oh a VERY happy note...
jeanYAH: i'll buy you a whole box of ring pops

YAAYY!! Jean loves me!! I feel special! :)

OH also I got to bring home some fresh flowers from work. :) SO now I have these beautiful roses that match perfectly with the slightly cluttered kitchen that is still in the process of being re-vamped.

MY SISTER TOOK MY RING POP. :( The ring pop that I had worked so hard to get at Gameworks (yes... 7 whole tickets that I had gotten in skeeball) and was saving for a rainy day.... It was on my bookshelf chillin happily... she took it and immediently after I screamed "HEY THATS MINE" she turned her back to block herself and my grape ring pop, unwrapped it and shoved it in her mouth. :( oh sadness....

I will unleash my revenge somehow... oh yes, I will. SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN CARLENE!!!

Thursday, August 01, 2002

*blah* so today (er... yesterday) Carlene and I went absolutely MAD in the garage. Our assignment (I like to think of it as a sentance) was to organize the garage. This must have been like the 100th time organizing that darn garage (actually, i think its more like 4th... but hello.. we've been living here for 7 months!!) So, we had to build these new damn shelves in the damn hot garage with these damn flies swarming around... and once completed had to move those damn boxes from the right side to the left side of the damn garage. Sorry... it wasn't fun at all. Wait, I take that back, we had some moments of sheer insanity (in a good way) when we were pounding the mallet into racks or screaming profanities at the flies.... and there was the discovery of all our old casettes that turned into our "lets reorganize the damn garage" soundtrack which included popular hits such as Redhead Kingpin's "3-2-1 PUMP," Montell Jordan's "I LIKE," and 69 Boyz "TOOTSIE ROLL."

Anyways, since my mom and uncle stop their crazy ways when the sun goes down, we escaped around 1am and hid out at the 24 hour Wal-mart.

I wanted to write a note that would go along the lines of:
Dear Mom and Uncle Sonny,
We couldn't take it anymore, so we ran away.
See you in the morning.

But it didn't happen. Kinda felt sinful though... sneaking out blah blah blah... but really, it wasn't all that bad ass since sneaking out is a common and casual thing. Plus we went to Wal-mart for gosh sakes. Not too exciting, but it was something to do. Also I had get a filter for my brita that I'm going to pack for Florida. (helllooooo... theres no way I'm going to buy bottled water there. You KNOW its going to be expensive!) At Wal-mart they have the imitation 4 wheelers for a darn good price and I was skating around the shoe section debating if I really wanted to buy them at 1:30am, but then one of the workers came and promptly told us that we werent allowed to skate in the store... OoOoo... pretty bad ass huh. ;)
